Technical support is free, just limited to email. You do not have purchase your site license to email me with any questions or problems you may have during installation or testing.  I really want you to be able to test the program in your own environment and be satisfied the program will meet your needs before you purchase your license.

This program, as with all of my help desk and customer support programs, is sold only as a site license.  This means you do not have to worry about any tricky "gotchas".  The web interface may be used by as many users (and or staff members) as you like with no additional per user charges.  The windows application may also be used by as many staff as you have at your location with no additional per user charges.  The windows and web interface are sold together for AccessAble Help Desk Client Server Edition. When you purchase a license you don't have to worry if this entitles you to use both - it does.  However, if you do not purchase a site license after trying the program for up to 30 days you must uninstall both the web and windows application.  Continued use of either after the 30 day trial period without purchasing a license is not allowed.

 

It might also be helpful for you to think of the Site License as a Server license.  If you have installed the program on only one server, and have, for example staff members at that location using the windows application, but have sales staff or other remote personnel logging in via the web interface to submit web request this would still only require a single site license. However, if you have the program installed on your east coast office, and then the west coast office decides they want to use the program but on their own server, they would need to buy their own site license.  If there are many locations where each would like to have the program running on a separate server it may be more cost effective for you to buy an Enterprise license rather than individual licenses for each location.  If you have questions, don't hesitate to email me at dbandsons@aol.com

 

Finally, I do not sell any software that I didn't write myself.  I do not resell other companies software.  AccessAble Help Desk Client Server Edition is intended for those who already use a licensed version of Microsoft SQL Server or one of their other variations - MSDE, or the new MS SQL Server 2005 Express Edition.  I do not include this in my download and I do not sell any Microsoft software.

 

If you will not be using your own internal servers for the web portion of the program, I have been using and feel comfortable in recommending as a web host with good support for Microsoft SQL Server - websecurestores.com - I believe they offer good pricing and value so I can recommend them to you.
